After missing the past two weeks with a hamstring injury, Tennessee Titans starting running back DeMarco Murray returned to practice on Monday.
This has to be considered some really good news given the fact that hamstring injuries tend to linger when it comes to running backs in today's NFL.
Murray, 29, put up an absolutely tremendous first season with the Titans after struggling in his one year with the Philadelphia Eagles. He accounted for 1,287 rushing yards to go with nine touchdowns. Murray also added 53 receptions and three scores through the air en route to finishing as the fourth-best fantasy running back.
Though, Murray's fantasy relevance this season is a bit up in the air. Tennessee also boasts young running back Derrick Henry, Titans, who put up 627 total yards and averaged a robust 4.5 yards per rush as a rookie last season.
As of right now, Murray's ADP has him as the seventh running back off the board at the top of the first round in 12-team leagues. For his part, Henry is being valued as an early eight-round pick. The two represent a solid potential as a streaming option this season. Murray's return from injury magnifies this a bit further.
