Jets Season Comes to an End Following Loss to the Bills

New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw an interception in each of the team's final three drives in a choke job of epic proportions. New York needed a win in order to clinch a spot in the playoffs. Instead, it dropped 22-17 to the Buffalo Bills and former head coach Rex Ryan.

By virtue of the Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Cleveland Browns, Mike Tomlin's squad clinched the final AFC wild card spot over the Jets.

For Fitzpatrick and the Jets, it was a complete disaster in Western New York. The veteran quarterback put up his first three-interception performance since Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

All said, 2015 was a pretty successful campaign for first-year head coach Todd Bowles who led the team to 10 wins after it finished with four the previous season.

Still, none of those takes away the burn that the Jets have to be feeling at this point. Losing in Week 17 to your former head coach with the playoffs on the line will leave a sour taste in their mouths heading into the offseason.
