The Green Bay Packers took on a brutal schedule the past two weeks, heading out on the road to take on the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers defense. They lost both games and while Aaron Rodgers had a strong second half against Carolina, he still hasn't been playing up to his normal level lately.
Part of the problem has been the stiff competition Green Bay has faced, its offensive line has allowed sigificant pressure and with little time to throw, Green Bay's wide receivers are not getting open deep. The Packers have also seemed to turn away from slant passes and throws over the middle, normally a staple of their offense. Pair that with a slow, ineffective Eddie Lacy and it's been a collective mess.
Fortunately for the Packers, the Detroit Lions are coming to town at just the perfect time. Detroit has one of the worst defenses in the NFL and it's something the Packers will take advantage of and DFS players should take advantage of this week.
