The injury-plaged season for Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy took another major hit on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.
McCoy left the game with a potentially serious knee injury. He was initially questionable to return prior to being ruled out after heading to the locker room.
McCoy, acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade this past March, missed two games earlier this year with a hamstring injury and has been banged up in plenty of other games throughout the year.
He did head into Sunday's action leading the Bills with 866 rushing yards and 1,150 total yards from the running back position.
There are no further updates on McCoy's status — something that likely won't be updated until Sunday evening at the earliest.
Mike Gillislee replaced McCoy in the backfield and proceeded to record a 60-yard touchdown run in a game the Bills need to remain in the AFC playoff race.
As with other injuries throughout the day, we will update McCoy's status when it becomes available.
