Marcus Mariota Ruled Out for Week 7

The Tennessee Titans will be without quarterback Marcus Mariota for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. Mariota suffered and played through a grade-2 MCL sprain last Sunday in a loss to the Miami Dolphins. Mariota was never truly expected to play this week but this makes it official.

With Mariota out, Zach Mettenberger will start in his place. In seven games last year, Mettenberger completed 59.8 percent of his 179 pass attempts, throwing for 1,412 passing yards, eight touchdowns, seven interceptions and four fumbles.

Mettenberger isn't in the same universe as Mariota athletically, but he does offer significant arm strength, which is good news if you own a Titans' receiver like Justin Hunter or Dorial Green-Beckham. Mettenberger likes to air it out downfield and with Harry Douglas out, Green-Beckham should get an opportunity to be a major contributor.

In daily fantasy football, it's going to be a pretty easy choice to stay away from Mettenberger. But have a share or two of Green-Beckham and tight end Delanie Walker. Both are nice value plays for Week 7.
