Marqise Lee to Miss Next Two Weeks with Strained Hamstring

In the midst of a training camp battle to try and become one of the Jacksonville Jaguars three starting wide receivers, Marqise Lee has suffered another set back. The oft-injured wide receiver suffered a hamstring strain in practice and will miss the next two weeks; Adam Scheftler first reported the injury news.

Lee, 23, missed time during OTA's and minicamp with a knee injury after missing three games with a hamstring injury last year. In his second year, a healthy training camp was crucial for him to prove he could stay healthy and worth of a starting job. But even before the latest injury, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Sun-Times reported that Allen Hurns was working ahead of Lee with the first-team along with standout receiver Allen Robinson.

Lee will now fall further behind his peers in the pecking order. Some will speculate he could still be Jacksonville's third wide receiver this year, missing two weeks allows rookie Rashad Greene to get extra practice reps and more time on the field in preseason games.

Fantasy Spin:

The earlier report of Hurns working ahead of Lee was already a major blow for any fantasy owners giving Lee a millisecond of thought when preparing their draft boards in 14-team leagues. But this latest setback should now push Lee out of consideration in all fantasy leagues, including dynasty. His inability to stay healthy along with his place on the depth chart and questions about Blake Bortles are a combo platter of every poor circumstance for a wide receiver's potential
