The Seattle Seahawks offense was dealt another tough blow on Friday, just days before a tough matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Running back Marshawn Lynch has been ruled out for Sunday's game, making it the second straight week he will have missed.
Lynch was aa game-time decision in Week 3 with a calf injury and only played for a short time before a hamstring injury caused him to be pulled from the game. Now for the past two weeks he has been called a "game-time decision" until two days before the game, when it's revealed he is out.
Lynch's friend and teammate, running back Fred Jackson, is listed as questionable with a high-ankle sprain, but the history of high-ankle sprains is a strong indicator he won't play. if that's the case, Thomas Rawls is Seattle's only running back on the roster and is going to see a crazy workload on Sunday.
Before you plug Rawls into your lineup though, just look back at what happened to Rawls on Monday Night Football. The offensive line was pushed back on nearly every play, pressure got into the backfield and Rawls finished with just 48 rushing yards on the night. Seattle hasn't faced a defensive line like the one they will face in Cincinnati, their offensive line will likely get tossed around like ragdolls. If you want to play Rawls, you are doing it at your own risk.
