New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham suffered a hamstring injury late in the team's win over the San Francisco 49ers last week. The star receiver had not practiced at all this past week up until Sunday, which seemed to be an indication that he was more questionable than not heading into Monday's big divisional matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.
That's not the case.
NJ.com reported early Monday that Beckham would be able to go against the Eagles. That report was confirmed by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport early in the afternoon:
With Victor Cruz still sidelined and Rueben Randle also dealing with a hamstring injury, Eli Manning is going to need Beckham Jr. to produce at a high level in a game that is a battle for first place in the NFC East.
Through five games this season, Beckham Jr. has tallied 31 receptions for 428 yards and three scores.
