Potential Breakout Candidate Davante Adams Makes Ridiculous Catch

The Green Bay Packers continue to prove they have an eye for talent at wide receiver. A little over a year after the team made Davante Adams a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the second-year receiver is primed for a breakout campaign.

All signs from Packers' camp thus far indicate that Adams has been impressive. This came to the forefront during the team's Family Night on Saturday evening at Lambeau Field.

As MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to test his receivers, Adams' ability to stand out above a group behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb is an indication that he will play a huge role as the team's No. 3 wide receiver this season.

The former Fresno State standout tallied 38 receptions for 446 yards and three scores as a rookie. He also caught nearly 62 percent of the passes thrown in his direction. If Rodgers continues to build trust with Adams, there's a really good chance he will be lining up on the outside opposite Nelson with Cobb getting a vast majority of the work in the slot. You don't need to be a genius to realize what that means for Adams' fantasy stock.
