With training camp just around the corner, some of the top rookies will look to impress in their first real action with an NFL team. There will be a lot of chatter about how some players look, while some players will impress quietly. Either way, this year's rookie class has a lot to offer as far as talent is concerned. Look for dozens of rookies to make an impact right away.
Here are the top 25 rookies heading into training camp:
25. Bradley Roby, Cornerback, Denver Broncos
Denver took Roby in the late first round, and he will look to start right away. Expect him to replace Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie immediately as the second cornerback opposite of Aqib Talib.
24. Kelvin Benjamin, Wide Receiver, Carolina Panthers
Benjamin should be the number one option for Cam Newton this year, and if given enough targets he could make a case for one of the best offensive rookies in year one.
23. Odell Beckham, Wide Receiver, New York Giants
Beckham has been hampered by injuries, but with him being placed in a good situation in New York, Eli Manning will look his way in his rookie season. Can he become Victor Cruz 2.0?
22. Taylor Lewan, Offensive Tackle, Tennessee Titans
Lewan will look to be the lead blocker for the Titans running game, and that is perfect for the former Wolverine. Look for him to use his tenacious run blocking ability right away as a right tackle for Tennessee.
21. Jace Amaro, Tight End, New York Jets
Despite Amaro being drafted in the second round, the Jets will use him as a top option in the passing game. He is second on the depth chart behind Jeff Cumberland now, but expect him to be the top option for Geno Smith or Michael Vick at the position.
20. C.J. Mosley, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens
Mosley would have been a top 10 pick if he had a clean bill of health, but the Ravens were glad he fell. Expect him to fit in right away as a dominant coverage linebacker and a very good tackler.
19. Justin Gilbert, Cornerback, Cleveland Browns
Gilbert was the first of two picks by the Browns on day one. Those in the NFL draft community were not united on Gilbert. Some think he is overrated, and was overdrafted. Either way, he is playing opposite Joe Haden and will have an opportunity to prove his worth right away.
18. Bishop Sankey, Running Back, Tennessee Titans
Sankey was also a second round pick, but could not have landed in a better situation. The Titans possess a few very good run blockers including Chance Warmack and rookie Taylor Lewan. Sankey will look to win the offensive rookie of the year.
17. Jordan Matthews, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles
Many thought Matthews would have gone in the first round, but Chip Kelly and the Eagles are more than happy that he fell to the second. Matthews has received all sorts of good press already in Philadelphia and is poised to make an immediate impact.
16. Jimmie Ward, Defensive Back, San Francisco 49ers
It's unfortunate that Ward will not have a huge role right away, as he is one of those players who is fun to watch. But he could not have ended up in a better situation. He will play behind one of the best front sevens in football, and will likely be a nickel defensive back on day one.
15. Jason Verrett, Cornerback, San Diego Chargers
If Verrett were over six feet tall, he would have been considered for a top 10 pick. The Chargers were able to add him later than his talents are worth because of his size. But, Verrett plays big, and will start for San Diego right away.
14. Anthony Barr, Edge Player, Minnesota Vikings
There are a lot of different opinions on Barr, but considering he landed in Minnesota under Mike Zimmer, Barr's potential could be realized. He is an excellent pass rusher in space, and is extremely quick player, but will need to modify his technique to succeed right away.
13. Kyle Fuller, Cornerback, Chicago Bears
Fuller was the top-rated cornerback on a lot of boards this year, and for good reason. The Bears added a starter right away, and Fuller has the potential to be the next lockdown cornerback.
12. Zack Martin, Offensive Lineman, Dallas Cowboys
While Jerry Jones has received a lot of heat on draft day of late, Martin was a very good pick. He will protect Tony Romo right away, and that had to be goal number one.
11. Hasean Clinton-Dix, Safety, Green Bay Packers
"Ha-Ha" as he is known by, will assume a starting safety position in Green Bay once the season starts, as he needs to beat out Micah Hyde first. But HHDC will be one of the better rookie defensive backs in his first year.
10. Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback, Minnesota Vikings
How many times have you read his name this offseason? He is still the best quarterback in Minnesota, and Norv Turner may finally have to start a rookie quarterback. Can Teddy lead the Vikings to a division crown?
9. Eric Ebron, Tight End, Detroit Lions
The Lions offense was already dangerous. Then they added Golden Tate, and drafted Ebron. Matthew Stafford has a plethora of weapons around him now, so the sky is the limit for the Detroit offense.
8. Ryan Shazier, Linebacker, Pittsburgh Steelers
Shazier was one of the fastest linebackers in college football last year, and is already making a name for himself in Pittsburgh. Can he lead the Steelers defense back to what it once was?
7. Aaron Donald, Defensive Tackle, St. Louis Rams
Regardless of what your thoughts on Donald are in the run game, he is a dominant pass rusher from the defensive tackle position. With Robert Quinn, Chris Long, and Michael Brockers around him, the Rams could have one of the most formidable defensive lines we have seen in a long time.
6. Mike Evans, Wide Receiver, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last year, Josh McCown threw to Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. This year he will throw to two more trees in Evans and Vincent Jackson. Expect the former Aggie to make a lot of plays in the NFC South right away.
5. Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills
Watkins is a terrific player, but ended up in a rough situation in Buffalo. If E.J. Manuel can improve from his rookie year, Watkins will have a great year, but that is a big if. Watkins' potential is incredible though, so watch out for the former Clemson star.
4. Greg Robinson, Offensive Guard, St. Louis Rams
Robinson may be the best offensive player in this draft as far as raw ability, but he will move inside to guard in his first year before bouncing to tackle in a few years. With Jake Long next to him, the Rams will likely run to the left a lot this season, and for good reason.
3. Jake Matthews, Offensive Tackle, Atlanta Falcons
Matthews is as close to a finished product as you can get from a rookie, and will immediately star for the Falcons on the offensive line. Protecting Matt Ryan will be easy for Matthews, as he had to protect Johnny Manziel for the last few years.
2. Khalil Mack, Linebacker, Oakland Raiders
Mack is a complete player, and would have been the first defensive player drafted if it was not for a generational talent in front of him. The Raiders defense will be a lot better right away just because of him.
1. Jadeveon Clowney, Pass Rusher, Houston Texans
Clowney is a generational talent, and the Texans will use him everywhere as a pass rusher. That means he will be on the same side of the field as J.J. Watt, so look out AFC South.
