Quick Injury Updates Heading into Sunday's Week 6 NFL Action

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may have returned to limited practice this week, but it's not going to equate to him suiting up against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Instead, Pittsburgh will have to rely on Michael Vick for at least one more week.

This leads us to believe a couple things.

* Le'Veon Bell will be relied on as a workhorse from both a running and receiving perspective. Look for 20-plus attempts and five-plus catches from him.

* Antonio Brown isn't going to be worth his price tag in DFS contests. And while you have to start him in year-long leagues, keep in mind that he's put up just eight catches for 87 yards in Vick's two starts.

The Detroit Lions have ruled Eric Ebron out for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. Without a viable candidate to replace him from a fantasy perspective, look for wide receiver Lance Moore to take on more responsibility as the Lions attempt to win their first game of the season.

Justin Forsett is expected to be a game-time decision Sunday afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers. This puts those in daily contests in a less-than-stellar situation. If you are going to be relying on him, you then face the risk of having to avoid running backs in games with 1:00 p.m. ET start times. And if Forsett is ruled out when inactives are announced, the only other viable candidate for the Ravens is rookie Buck Allen.

Steve Smith doesn't expect to play Sunday against San Francisco. Short of him being a surprise late addition to the active roster, this means Kamar Aiken will likely be Joe Flacco's primary receiver against a bad 49ers pass defense. Aiken has put up nine receptions for 155 yards and a score over the past two games. He's a solid WR2/WR3 option if you are planning on going cheap there.

Tyrod Taylor will be a game-time decision against the Cincinnati Bengals. With a 1:00 p.m. ET start time, you are going to have to check in on inactives before making a final decision. Of course, that's if you are looking to play Taylor against a good Bengals defense. If Taylor isn't able to go, EJ Manuel isn't a viable option.

It does appear LeSean McCoy will give it a go in that game. Though, he admitted he's not at 100 percent heading into Sunday. With so many injuries to the Bills backfield and likely without Karlos Williams, McCoy becomes an intriguing play — if nothing else because he will receive the necessary touches barring an in-game setback.

Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams admitted on Friday that he might not be able to go against the San Diego Chargers. Out the past few weeks with an ankle injury, it would be surprising to see Adams active. If not, James Jones becomes an obvious WR2/WR3 play. Though, if you are looking for REAL value here, rookie Ty Montgomery can be available on the cheap.
