Rams RB Todd Gurley Doesn't Practice on Thursday, in Walking Boot

As the final week of the 2015 NFL season comes for many NFL teams, they will often take more caution with players dealing with injuries. The St. Louis Rams have nothing else but pride and experience to play for this season, which could explain why rookie running back Todd Gurley missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

Gurley was held out from practice with a foot injury and with only one game remaining in the season, St. Louis could easily decide to hold him out. The rookie out of Georgia has shined coming off a torn ACL in 2014, Gurley has played in 14 games and rushed for over 1,100 yards on 229 carries. He would finish the season with 10 touchdowns and 188 receiving yards as well.

If Gurley is ruled out for Sunday's finale, Tre Mason will get the start in his place. St. Louis has a matchup against a 49ers' defense that is allowing 128.5 rushing yards per game, the fifth-highest allowed in the NFL. He would make a fine DFS play for Week 17.
