Raise your hand if you are sad the NFL regular season is over? Outside of fans of some bad football teams out there, I am pretty sure Sunday night felt like being sent back to school after Summer break.
Gone too is the year-long fantasy football leagues that most of us have enjoyed over the past 17 weeks. Guess it's time to fill that void with playoff DFS contests.
Any who, Kellen Moore finished as the third-best fantasy quarterback of Week 17. If you had money on that, go buy a lottery ticket (or 10).
He was joined in the top three by Cam Newton and Ben Roethlisberger, bringing some normalcy back to our lives.
Newton put up four total touchdowns (two on the ground and two through the air), bringing his total to 24 over the past seven games. Yup, the likely NFL MVP finished the regular season as the top fantasy quarterback by a whopping 48 points.
Not to be outdone (because we know God's son can't be one-upped), Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson recorded another three touchdowns without an interception on Sunday. Ciara's lesser half has now put up 24 touchdowns and just one interception over the past seven games. After putting up 10 total touchdowns in the first nine games, Wilson ends the season as the third-best fantasy quarterback.
Tom Brady completed 12 passes for 134 yards in a 20-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Luckily for most of us, the fantasy season came to a conclusion prior to Week 17. If not, I would have likely joined many in wishing Brady would stub his toe this week.
Let's take a gander at the top-five fantasy running backs for Week 17:

Yeah, I am not too much of a friend of life right now either.
Rashad Jennings? I mean, he did put up three consecutive double-digit fantasy outings prior to Sunday. Guess we should have seen something like this coming.
Still not there on Jonathan Grimes and DuJuan Harris, the latter of whom joined San Francisco's roster just 13 days ago. Such is the nature of the beast in Week 17.
With 67 rushing yards against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Adrian Peterson clinched his third rushing title. He also finished as the No. 2 fantasy running back on the season behind only Devonta Freeman.
Freeman's numbers are a bit misleading in that he did next to nothing after a fluky early-season performance that saw him put up 11 touchdowns in his first nine games. In the seven outings since, the Falcons running back has tallied three total touchdowns with two lost fumbles.
The moral of the story here? Freeman isn't the top re-draft option in fantasy football heading into 2016. Heck, he's not even top-five among running backs.
Antonio Brown put up 13 receptions for 187 yards and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. He finished the regular season with 136 receptions for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Joining Brown with 136 receptions was Atlanta Falcons pass catcher Julio Jones, who caught nine passes for over 100 yards against the New Orleans Saints. Brown and Jones finished less than 10 receptions off Marvin Harrison's single-season record.
Maybe it was his way of trolling all of us who had lost confidence in his during the fantasy season, but Calvin Johnson finished as the second-best fantasy receiver on the week. You know what's crazy about this? Despite his perceived struggles, Johnson still finished as a top-10 fantasy receiver during the regular season.
