Random Fantasy Football Musings Heading into Week 6

Ezekiel Elliott takes his league-leading 546 rushing yards into Green Bay to take on a Packers run defense that's yielded a grand total of 170 yards on the ground and an average of 2.0 yards per rush. Needless to say, Green Bay ranks No. 1 in the NFL in this category. Talk about an opportunity for Elliott to REALLY prove his worth.

With Jordan Reed sidelined to a concussion, we can fully expect the Washington Redskins to go with more three-wide sets. If so, Jamison Crowder and his 68 percent catch rate really becomes a solid under-the-radar DFS play against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It's been somewhat under the radar, but Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton has been dominating the state line recently. Over the course of the past three games, Hilton has caught 25-of-32 targeted for 397 yards and three touchdowns. This has him as the second-best receiver heading into Week 6.

Coming out of a bye, Alex Smith has himself a heck of a matchup on Sunday. He's taking on an Oakland Raiders defense that's yielding the most fantasy points to quarterbacks on the season. He's doing so in Oakland, where the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has posted nine touchdowns in three starts since joining the AFC West.

Speaking of good matchups, look for Delanie Walker to absolutely blow up against the Cleveland Browns. The Tennessee Titans' tight end appears to be fully healthy, and is coming off a Week 5 performance that saw him put up five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. It also doesn't hurt that he's taking on a Browns defense that's yielded an 80 percent catch rate to tight ends on the season.

Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is averaging over 10 targets per game. This has him as the top fantasy player at his position. Now set to take on a bad New Orleans Saints defense with Cam Newton returning from injury, Olsen should have a massive day. New Orleans is yielding a 75 percent catch rate to tight ends heading into Week 6.
