Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is expected to be a top-end fantasy player at his position. In fact, Fantasy Pros currently has him with an ADP that's 44th overall (third among tight ends).
But buyers must definitely be cautious. Reed, who has a history of injuries, opened up Redskins camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. He's now without a timetable to return after visiting with a toe specialist recently.
Reed dealt with multiple injuries, including concussion issues for the Redskins last season. He ultimately put up 66 receptions for 686 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. That came on the heels of Reed putting up a 87-952-11 split back in 2015.
With these injury concerns, one would be hard-pressed to select Reed midway through the fourth round in 12-team leagues as his ADP currently suggests. Instead, the likes of Greg Olsen and Jimmy Graham should be seen as more viable options as TE1's behind Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce.
