Dynasty fantasy football players should take note of this seemingly unimportant information. Washington Redskins 2016 first-round pick Josh Doctson still has not been cleared to take part in football activities, including running. This comes after Doctson missed all but two games of his rookie season with an Achilles injury.
Selected in the first round this past spring, there were surely those in the dynasty fantasy football community that picked up Doctson with the understanding that he might make a long-term impact. While that surely could still be the case, it is rather alarming that he has not been cleared for activities yet.
There's definitely an intriguing dynamic in play here. Both DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, Washington's two starting receivers are slated to become free agents in March. Neither is expected back. That would seemingly put Doctson in play to put up a stellar performance as a sophomore in 2017. Unfortunately, his injury issues puts this in doubt.
