If the Los Angeles Rams decide to move on from quarterback Nick Foles and shop him around the league, it appears there will be at least a few teams who will be interested. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Friday that the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and Washington football franchise would all have interest in the veteran's services.
Foles started 11 games for the Rams last season but was dreadful, completing just 56.4 percent of his passes with seven passing touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His poor play eventually led to him being benched and replaced by Case Keenum, who performed poorly but was still better than Foles.
Due a $6 million roster bonus next week, the Rams might find it more difficult to deal him with that set to kick in. But there is clearly interest around the NFL with teams viewing Foles as a strong backup. If the Rams can get something for Foles, they would be wise to pull the trigger.
