Report: DeMarco Murray Will Play against the New York Jets

Concern popped up for Philadelphia Eagles fans and fantasy owners when DeMarco Murray was pulled from practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury and did not participate in Thursday's practice. But it appears Murray's hamstring is good to go for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

The Eagles need all the help they can get as they try to avoid an 0-3 start to the season. But the last thing this struggling offense needed was to go out on the road and face one of the best defenses in football.

Murray has totaled just 11 rushing yards on 21 carries this season, an even more astounding number when you consider 21 quarterbacks have more rushing yards than last year's leading rusher. Now he faces a Jets' defense that has the cornerbacks to shut down Philadelphia's receivers with one-on-one coverage and just shut down the running game with the front-seven.

If you have the luxury of not having to start Murray this week, keep him out of your lineup. Philadelphia has yet to show they have figured out their offense and can get into a rhythm this season and the matchup is just incredibly lopsided in the Jets favor.
