Report: Tyrod Taylor Could Miss Multiple with Sprained MCL

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor injured his knee in the team's win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. While the surprising young quarterback was able to remain in the game, it appears that he's going to be out for a bit moving forward.

With games coming up against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals before Buffalo's Week 8 bye, it looks like he might be out until Week 9. That would be a major blow for a 3-2 Bills teams that's already suffering with injuries to LeSean McCoy, Karlos Williams and Sammy Watkins on offense.

It's also important to note that Buffalo traded Matt Cassel to the Dallas Cowboys last month, meaning EJ Manuel would start in Taylor's stead. The team did sign Josh Johnson on Tuesday — an indication it expects Taylor to miss some time.

Through five games, Taylor is completing over 70 percent of his passes with nearly 1,300 total yards and 11 touchdowns compared to four interceptions.
