Sights and Sounds from Minnesota Vikings Training Camp

eDraft's Luke Inman has been able to attend Minnesota Vikings training camp this summer. In addition to evaluating the players with his scouting expertise, Inman gave readers an ability to go inside the camp itself by posting videos of specific plays, conducting interviews, taking part in press conferences and snapping some photos.

Here is the best of the best from his venture to Vikings camp this far.

Luke sat down with second-year cornerback Xavier Rhodes a couple times. Rhodes, who is slated to be a starter heading into 2014, recorded 48 tackles and 10 passes defended in 13 games (six starts) as a rookie.

Inman was also able to chat with Vikings secondary leader Harrison Smith, who is among the best young safeties in the entire National Football League.

Rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is making the quarterback competition in Minnesota a bit more difficult than some imagined prior to the start of training camp, because of plays like this.

It remains to be seen who is going to win the starting quarterback job in Minnesota, but there are some that believe Bridgewater will end up starting Week 1 over Matt Cassel. One thing is for sure, Christian Ponder is not part of the competition.

One of Inman's primary focuses has been to check in on the Vikings secondary. In addition to analyzing how the youngsters are performing next to Smith, he's been able to catch and with them and give fans an understanding of their thought process throughout camp.

Offensively, Bridgewater is working with new coordinator Norv Turner, who has a track record of success with young quarterbacks throughout his coaching career. It appears that the relationship is going swimmingly at this point. In addition to this, Teddy is attempting to get acclimated with new receivers. Here are Rodney Smith and Jarius Wright talking with Inman about Bridgewater and much more.

Inman was also able to take part in a press conference with Turner, who spoke about a ton of different things on the offensive side of the ball...including the rookie Bridgewater.

Check out Inman's recaps on his journalist page.

And don't forget to listen to all the interviews the eDraft writer has conducted during camp.
