The two quarterbacks that started Sunday night's game between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks are the only to starters remaining under center for their respective teams in the NFC West.
Following a 37-13 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the St. Louis Rams have benched quarterback Nick Foles.
This comes after Foles completed 17-of-36 passes for 200 yards with zero touchdowns and one interception. He's now thrown one touchdown in his past four games.
Starting in Foles' stead this upcoming week against the Baltimore Ravens will be career journeyman Case Keenum who has not attempted a single pass this season.
Keenum, 27, last started a game for the Houston Texans last year.
While Keenum won't strike fear into opposing defenses, it will be hard for him to perform down to the level of a quarterback in Foles who has led the Rams offense to a 30th ranking in scoring and a dead last ranking in terms of passing yards.
At 4-5 on the season, St. Louis is hovering between playoff contention and playing out the string. This might be one last-ditch effort for Jeff Fisher to save his job.
