The Pittsburgh Steelers long nightmare of Michael Vick and Landry Jones taking snaps under center may be coming to an end.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin indicated on Tuesday that there will be no practice limitations for Ben Roethlisberger as the team prepares for him to start against the Cincinnati Bengals this upcoming weekend:
This shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Big Ben did take part in 11-on-11 practices last week, but indicated that he felt some pain in his knee after the fact.
Now, a few days removed from that, it appears the two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback will be ready to go in an important AFC North matchup against the 6-0 Cincinnati Bengals.
Roethlisberger has been out since suffering a sprained MCL Week 3 against the St. Louis Rams. Pittsburgh is just 2-2 in the four games that he has missed and now sits three games behind Cincinnati in the loss column. It's pretty much a must win if the Steelers want to have any chance of competing in the division moving forward this season.
