Jamaal Charles, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs
Four-Week Total: 378 rushing yards, 16 receptions, 272 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns (125 points)
At some point in the not-so-distant future, I expect ALF to pop out from inside of Charles' body and show us what we must believe to be true today...that the Chiefs' running back is not of this planet. What the former Texas Longhorn has done over the course of the last four weeks is simply insane. His 125 standard fantasy points during that span would make him the 22nd-ranked fantasy running back for the entire season, ahead of the likes of Ray Rice, Stevan Ridley and C.J. Spiller. In fact, his 79.30 fantasy points in Kansas City's last two games put him ahead of Montee Ball, Shane Vereen and Doug Martin on the season. Yeah, this is why fantasy football can be mind numbing at times.

Fantasy Football Delight: Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles Go Off
DeMarco Murray, Running Back, Dallas Cowboys
Four-Week Total: 429 rushing yards, 14 receptions, 107 receiving yards and four touchdowns (77.60 points)
Some of this has to do with Murray's three-touchdown performance against a bad Oakland Raiders defense on Thanksgiving, but it's important to note that the injury-prone running back is averaging 6.3 yards per rush over the past six games. If Jason Garrett gets his head out of the sand, Murray might actually help you win your fantasy championship in the next week or two. If not, you will join a ton of Cowboys fans in roasting him on a spitfire outside of Cowboy Stadium following Week 16. Murray is the No. 2 fantasy running back over the past four weeks and ranks seventh at that position in the season. Go figure.
Eddie Lacy
Four-Week Total: 332 rushing yards, 15 receptions, 126 receiving yards and three touchdowns (63.80 points)
Many were looking at Giovani Bernard as the top fantasy rookie heading into the season. While the Cincinnati Bengals' second-round pick bordering on RB1 production, it is Lacy who has stolen the show after a slow start. The Alabama product tallied just 51 yards on 15 attempts through the first four weeks of the season (missed one game due to injury an Green Bay had an early bye). Since that slow start, it's been complete and utter domination for the rookie. He's averaging 107 yards per game over the course of his last seven outings, including three different 150-plus yard performances.
Lacy is now the eighth-ranked fantasy running back through 15 weeks and will be going up against two defenses in the form of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears who haven't been good against fantasy running backs this season. There is an outside possibility that Lacy finished in the top-five at his position in fantasy points when all is said and done.
