For the first time this season, Tre Mason will suit up for the St. Louis Rams. He had been dealing with a hamstring injury throughout all of the summer and preseason.
St. Louis takes on a Washington Redskins defense that should be up for the task against the run this week, especially after putting up a solid performance against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1.
With Mason back in action, it's likely he will take a nice amount of action away from Benny Cunningham, who played well against the Seattle Seahawks last week. Of course, that's until rookie first-round pick Todd Gurley returns.
In any event, neither Mason nor Cunningham offer much upside heading into Week 1's early games in less than an hour. Don't change your lineup based on this news.
