The Cincinnati Bengals offense will be missing another key starter on Sunday. Along with quarterback Andy Dalton, Cincinnati has now ruled out tight end Tyler Eifert for Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers. It's a smart decision for the Bengals as Eifert has been dealing with a neck injury and concussion, two things that could easily have long-term concerns if not treated with caution.
With Eifert out of action, Tyler Kroft will step up in his place as starting tight end. Kroft has just four receptions for 52 receiving yards on the season and is facing a 49ers' defense that has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends over the last four weeks.
Kroft should not be on the fantasy radar this week, especially with A.J. McCarron starting at quarterback. Fantasy owners and DFS players should just see Eifert's absence as a boost for A.J. Green, Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill.
