Since tearing his patellar tendon last year, New York Gians wide receiver Victor Cruz has missed 13 consecutive games.
The former Pro Bowl receiver will see that streak extended to 14 games this week after he left practice on Wednesday because of continued issues with his calf.
At this point, it's not yet known when Cruz will return. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin indicated on Thursday that there is no timetable for the receiver's return, which means he could very well miss more than the team's Week 4 outing against the Buffalo Bills.
With Cruz still sidelined, Rueben Randle becomes a decent DFS play. He put up seven catches for 116 yards and a score against the Washington Redskins last week. He has cemented his status as Eli Manning's second-favorite wide receiver behind Odell Beckham.
