Video: Best Waiver Wire Adds for Week 6 of the 2015 NFL Season

It should go with out saying guys like Thomas Rawls, Allen Hurns and Tavon Austin should be scooped up right out the gate of your free agency period.

Outside of the obvious, I break down the top-five waiver wire adds for Week 6.

All the buzz is on Charcandrick West of the Kansas City Chiefs to replace running back Jamaal Charles who lost his season to an ACL tear the real value is with Knile Davis.  Fans and experts alike have seemingly put too much stock into the fact West had more touches than Davis once Charles went down. However, Davis has already proven himself in the NFL scoring eight touchdowns just last season alone.

While West will get worked into the mix and see his share of snaps and touches, it's Davis who is entering his prime in his third-year and at just 24 years old.  Remember, the Chiefs front office used an early third-round pick on Davis only insuring you he will be heavily involved into the Chiefs offensive plans for the rest of the 2015 season.

After spending time in Mankato for Vikings training camp it was clear from the get go the front office got a steal in fifth-round pick Stefon Diggs. The wide receiver from Maryland subbed in for an injured Charles Johnson and caught six of his 10 targets for 77 yards which had surpassed Johnson's total numbers for the year in just one game.

While the numbers were impressive, it was the fashion in which Diggs went about his buisness making tough contested catches over the best cornerback tanduem in the NFL look effortless.  Certainly, Mike Wallace is the team's number one option in the passing game, however, Diggs may have just leap frogged guys like Cordarrelle Patterson and Jarius Wright in one fell swoop.

Now with almost two weeks to prepare and game plan during their bye week the Vikings surly have a more dense idea of how they will incorporate Diggs into the offense finding ways to get him involved in what was a lackluster and underwhelming passing attack through the first four games.

While it may be wise to take the wait and see approach with Diggs as you look for more consistency before plugging him into your starting lineup, I'm throwng caution to the wind right out of the gate due to the fact the Vikings have one of the best five-game stretches of opposing pass defenses, starting with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6.
