Video: FanDuel Value Plays: Week 4

Here is Luke Inman’s value plays based off FanDuel weekly rankings and prices to help you build the ultimate winning lineup.

Derek Carr, Quarterback, Oakland Raiders ($7,000)

Carr has taken the biggest step forward so far this season of the four major quarterbacks who were drafted last year. Carr has averaged over 20 FanDuel points now in back-to-back weeks and gets a juicy matchup in week four against the Chicago Bears.

The Bears have averaged the ninth most points allowed to opposing quarterbacks already this season and is averaging close to three passing touchdowns allowed as well.  While he may be owned in more lineups than I prefer, for the money there isn't a better play at the position in Carr who has a great matchup and two playmaking weapons on his side.

Karlos Williams, Running Back, Buffalo Bills ($6,300)

I don't care if LeSean McCoy plays or he doesn't, because Karlos Williams is the best running back in the Buffalo Bills backfield either way, there I said it.

Williams fits exactly what Rex Ryan wants from his running game which is a bruising style of play that will wear down opposing defenses.  At 6'1" 230 pounds Williams fits the bill but, adds a surprising second dimension in his game with a sneaky explosiveness to the second level.

Averaging 7.8 yards per carry speaks volumes and so does his string of three consecutive touchdown runs in as many games.  Williams gets the New York Giants who are averaging over 20 points allowed to opposing running backs.  There might not be a better play than Williams this week for the value and, i'm not talking about just for his position, i'm talking about the entire league.
