Luke Inman is back in the eDraft Sports studio for your fantasy football pleasure as he introduces his newest video series. Going division-by-division, Luke finds the best rookie from each team’s 2015 draft class that will help you take a step above your competition this upcoming season.
Tackling the NFC North, Luke focuses on the Detroit Lions today where second-round selection from Nebraska Ameer Abdullah who will look to get involved in the offense in a big way. Abdullah has already made a lasting impression on coaches during rookie mini camps and OTAs with Joiqe Bell out with a leg injury.
With a current ADP (average draft position) of 85 and the 33rd running back being selected, Abdullah is a player you can get as late as the seventh-round in standard 12-team leagues. Inman points out however, that in a dynasty or keeper league Abdullah's value rises tremendously as the explosive back will be a focal point of the offensive gameplan for a very long time.
