Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans ($5,700)
Walker had a great outing last week against the Chargers (30 fantasy points) who once again lost a game on bewildering plays, an outstanding amount of ineptitude, and pure bad luck. As a Chargers fan, I just had to vent for a second - back to business. Walker has a fantastic match-up Sunday against the Colts who rank 29th in defense against tight ends. Overall, the Colts give up the most yards in the air this season, and seeing how Marcus Mariota has been slinging it, the Titans could dominate the Colts. Walker's floor is incredibly safe as one of the most targeted tight ends in the recent pool of tight ends over the last few seasons. He averages 64 YPG and has five touchdowns this year. 50 yards and a touchdown seems like a safe bet for Walker this Sunday.
Zach Miller, Chicago Bears ($3,800)
At this price, you have to take a shot on Miller as the Bears have lost Alshon Jeffery for four games due to violations of the league' substance rules. Without Jeffery, guys like Miller, Eddie Royal, and Cameron Meredith will undoubtedly see more targets. The Bears will likely air it out against the Giants who rank 22nd in tight end defense and will likely play ahead for most of the game as a much superior NFC team. The Bears stink, but they do throw a ton when Jay Cutler shoots them in the foot during the first half and they must play catch-up the rest of the game.
Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($3,800)
Since week 7, Brate has continually increased his production going from five, 11, 15, and 21 fantasy points. In that time, his targets continued to increase and he found the end zone in three straight games. The Chiefs are a nasty defense against tight ends, but the team is playing so well overall that the Bucs will likely have to throw a ton to keep up with the Chiefs methodical, eat the clock, frustratingly efficient offense. The Chiefs are the third-best defense against tight-ends, so I wouldn't blame you for sitting this one out, but Brate could be sneaky good at this price.
