Fantasy Football Week 12: Start These 10 Wide Receivers

With 11 weeks under the NFL’s belt, (which probably is on a further notch after all of that turkey and stuffing), week 12 brings a lot of great Wide Receivers. You know how this goes; read this and just smile and look pretty.

1. Roddy White, Atlanta

You may have survived Black Friday, but your opponents may not be able to survive Roddy White.  Even though White hasn’t been able to reach the end zone in several weeks, White has 3 consecutive 100-yard games.  He faces a league-worst passing defense against the Buccaneers this week. With 946 yards to date, he needs to be in your lineup.  19 points for White.

2. Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay

Week 11 was great to Jackson.  He made a filthy catch last minute in the end zone against the Carolina Panthers last week with just 12 seconds remaining in the game.  Jackson averages a wild 20.5 yards per catch.  He is facing the Falcons this week, which is a guaranteed battle.  He will get massive yards and have a great game.  At least 18 points for your team.  We love you Mr. Jackson, you are for real.

3. A.J. Green, Cincinnati

Andy Dalton and A.J. Green make a phenomenal team on the field. They’re relationship results in touchdowns in nine straight games, and he totals 10 touchdowns this year and 91.1 per game.  Which is no surprise since he leads wideouts in fantasy points.  You can be pretty confident when starting him Sunday against the Raiders. 18 points.

4. Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis

Wayne has been targeted 23 more times than any other players in the NFL which leads to 100.3 yards averaging per game.  He has already surpassed the 1,000 yard mark on the year.  If Andrew Luck is on his side this week, you could see some impressive numbers from Reggie.  17 points.

5. Demaryius Thomas, Denver

Willis McGahee’s injury makes a strong chance for Thomas to get a hold of the pigskin many times this week.  He has maintained sturdy numbers this season.  Start him as your No. 1 wide receiver against Kansas City.  Thomas will get 17 points for your team. Peyton Manning will take care of him for you.

6. Victor Cruz, New York Giants

Expect to see some dance moves from Cruz this week in the end zone.  He’s going to come back strong after a bye week when he faces the Packers.  Against Green Bay he has 12 catches for 193 yards in two games.  His last performance in week 10 against the Bengals was not impressive, however that’s more blame towards Eli Manning than him.  The Salsa Man should be spicy in the kitchen this week.  He will land you 16 points.

7.  Justin Blackmon, Jacksonville

Blackmon was sipping on some Henne last week.  He exploded to say the least against the Texans last Sunday with 236 yard and a touchdown on 13 targets.  Although it may be viewed as “just one game,” it would be wise to start him this week.  He has a solid connection with Chad Henne and could prove to be a good pick. 14 points.

8.Steve Smith, Carolina

Cam Newton’s best chance at a passing game is in Smith, he will catch anything you throw at him. Steve caught five passes for 61 receiving yards in the loss against the Bucs last week.  He has been a little off lately, however this week brings plenty of chances to redeem himself if Newton gives him touches. He faces the Eagles this week which he should earn you 14 points.

9. Marques Colston, New Orleans

Colston caught four passes for 46 yards, and also had a one-yard touchdown reception in a victory over the Eagles. He has 721 receiving yards this year with seven touchdowns. He faces a strong San Francisco defense this week. Keep him in your lineup and he can get you 13 points.

10. Denarius Moore, Oakland

Moore had quite less of a week against the Saints in Week 11. Hopefully he is more in sync with Carson Palmer against the Bengals this time around. If anything, the eager attempt for a Raiders win should help drive Moore into the end zone. Start him in your lineup, but don’t be confident he will be the highest scorer on your team. 12 points.

Honorable Mention: Anquan Boldin, Baltimore, 11 points

Honorable Mention: Cecil Shorts, Jacksonville, 11 points
