Raiders 23, Chiefs 20 (OT)

Sebastian Janikowski’s 33-yard field goal in overtime gave the host Oakland Raiders a 23-20 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in their 100th regular-season meeting.

The winning kick was set up by a 47-yard pass from Jason Campbell to an outstretched Jacoby Ford, who also returned the second kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown.

Janikowski’s 41-yard field goal with 3 seconds left forced overtime as the Raiders (5-4) won three straight for the first time since December 2002 and ended a seven-game home losing streak to the Chiefs (5-3).

Matt Cassel’s 20-yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Bowe with 6:16 left in the fourth quarter gave the Chiefs a 20-17 lead. Cassel also had an 11-yard touchdown pass to Verran Tucker in the first half.

Offensive tackle Khalif Barnes caught a 2-yard touchdown pass to give the Raiders a 14-13 lead in the third quarter.

The Chiefs led 10-0 at the half and it could have been more. They had a punt return called back and a field goal nullified because of penalties. Cassel was also intercepted in the end zone with 35 seconds left.

Campbell finished 19 of 33 for 229 yards; Cassel was 20 of 35 for 216 yards.

The Chiefs lead the all-time series 52-46-2.
