- Detroit went into Tampa Bay on Wednesday night and stole the game. The Wings were outshot 46-14 but they got a huge performance from goaltender Petr Mrazek

- The real question today is – can the Wings do it again? The Lightning will be determined to win this game and not go into Detroit down 2-0

- Lightning star Steven Stamkos fired eight shots in that last game but didn’t hit the scoresheet. However, there is a good chance that he and the other Bolts top offensive players come through today

- The Red Wings will rely on the experience and elite two-way play from Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg to try to take a commanding lead heading back to Detroit
