Top Teams to Target Tonight for Daily Fantasy Hockey

St. Louis Blues – The Blues are 7-0-1 in their past eight games, with 36 goals in that stretch (4.5 per game), and the offense is extremely deep and very talented. The Blues’ top two lines have both been amongst the top scoring lines in the league this year, and that has especially been true lately. For playing in daily fantasy tournaments tonight, both lines (David Backes - T.J. Oshie - Alexander Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko - Jaden Schwartz - Jori Lehtera) should be stacked in separate lineups as it is difficult to know which will go off for the bigger night. Of all the goaltenders in action on Thursday night, Hiller may be in the best spot of them all for the win and a strong game. Hiller had a good game (as expected) at home to Buffalo on Tuesday and he faces the Wild tonight who struggle scoring on the road. Calgary should keep things rolling tonight with another win for Hiller.

TOP CENTER PLAYS

John Tavares ($8,400) – In his last five games Tavares has seven goals, 11 points, 25 shots on goal and 45 FanDuel points (averaging 9 per game). Tavares has both the consistency you look for in a cash game player, and the explosive upside you look for in a GPP tournament play. He is a great player to use tonight in any game format.

Aleksander Barkov ($3,900) and Sean Monahan ($3,600) – Both of these young Centers are great VALUE plays tonight. They both Center their team’s top line and are part of the top powerplay group. Barkov is coming off a big three-point game and has seven points in his past six games, while Monahan has a five-game point streak going. Both could be used as part of stacks with their respective lines, or either could be used as a filler player to fit into your lineup to complete it.
