Two teams have the potential to blow out their opponnents – Tampa Bay and Columbus – but there are a few other teams with intriguing options on this short slate. Diversification and finding value will be key to take down a big tournament.
1. Tampa Bay Lightning – The Bruins used to be a very staunch team, but salary cap mismanagement has deteriorated them. They have not looked good so far this year (have played against Winnipeg and Montreal), and Tampa has a juggernaut offense.
Look for Patrice Bergeron to lineup against Steven Stamkos - Bergeron is an extremely strong two way player, so he neutralizes opponents. I like the Triplet line (Tyler Johnson, Ondrej Palat, Nikita Kucherov) to fire at will against Tuukka and have little resistance from the depleted Bruin defense. Ben Bishop makes for a good play in net as well, though he is a little risky with the game in Boston.
