Two Game Threes are on tap for Tuesday night's Stanley Cup Playoff action as Minnesota and Montreal fans will provide viewers with all sorts of noise. Here is a quick look at each game and what to expect.
Boston Bruins at Montreal Canadiens
Montreal looked like it was poised to come home with a 2-0 series lead until surrendering four goals to the Bruins in the third period of Saturday's Game Two. Now, the Habs will look to use the rowdy Bell Centre crowd to their advantage and take a 2-1 series lead.
This series has already been everything we had hoped it would be, and Tuesday night's game should be no different. The Bruins will be trying to ride the momentum from their incredible third period in Game Two, while the Canadiens will look to channel their normal selves.
Montreal goalie Carey Price will turn in a fantastic performance and the Canadiens fans will be incredibly loud, but it will be very hard to beat the Bruins. After all, Boston has won twelve consecutive Game Threes.
Nevertheless, Montreal is the team that will snap that streak. This one goes down to the wire, but the Canadiens grab the series lead once again. Bruins 2, Canadiens 3.
Chicago Blackhawks at Minnesota Wild
The Blackhawks were incredible at United Center for the first two games of this series, but how will they handle the great fans at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul? The Colorado Avalanche headed to Minnesota with a 2-0 series lead in the first round but dropped the third and fourth games. Will Chicago do the same?
Minnesota is looking like this year's Cinderella story, but the Wild's run could come to an end abruptly if they do not win Game Three at home.
The Wild have shown moments of greatness in the first two games but have not been able to keep up their consistent play against the Blackhawks. In Game Three, their hard work will pay off.
It will be a tightly contested game, but Minnesota uses its home ice advantage to scrape its way to another win at home. Chicago 3, Minnesota 4.
