A team out of the NHL’s talented Western Conference has won three out of the last five Stanley Cup Finals. Heading into the 2014 edition of the playoffs, there are a number of players that are finishing off monster regular seasons, and that appear more than ready to continue their torrid play into the postseason. The West has proven once again that the conference is chock-full of supreme talent at every position on the ice. The Conn Smythe trophy could very well be awarded to a wide range of players out of the West in 2014, whether they defend the Stanley Cup or not.
