Top Five Pittsburgh Penguins Fantasy Options

The Pittsburgh Penguins have a lot of players on the roster that are great players. For fantasy hockey, you're going to want to of course take the best players available to win the league. Let's take a look at the top five Penguins players that you should take in your draft if they are available.

Marc-Andre Fleury, G- Fleury will get you a lot of points during the regular season since he is a great regular season goaltender year in and year out. He'll get you around 30-35 wins a season and possibly more which is always good. He also makes a ton of saves but sometimes he still isn't that high on the save percentage list in the league. He'd be best served on your fantasy team as a backup if you get someone like Henrik Lundqvist but if you don't get one of the best goaltenders in the league, he would be a quality choice of a starter.

Kris Letang- I know Kris Letang is not healthy every season and hasn't been for a few seasons now but I think this is finally the season that Kris Letang has a fully healthy season. Letang is one of the best offensive defenseman in the NHL and can rack up points for your team as a defenseman. He head mans the power play which gets a lot of goals each season since it's so good. If defenseman like P.K. Subban, Erik Karlsson, Drew Doughty, and Shea Weber are gone, then Letang is the safest bet to go with.

Chris Kunitz- Kunitz has been very valuable to the Penguins over the past few years and especially this year. Ever since he has been on Crosby's line, he has had over 30 goals including this season where had 35 goals. Even though Kunitz is aging, he still a great player who gets over 60 points a season. Grab him early because he will really help you.

Evgeni Malkin- You can't go wrong with Evgeni Malkin. Malkin is one of the best players in the world and has done very good over the years. People who had him on their fantasy in the 2011-2012 season must have been in heaven since he won the NHL MVP when he hit the 50 goal mark and 50 assist mark. He has failed to get back there since but a healthy season for Geno this season could go a long way for fantasy owners. Take him in the top five.

Sidney Crosby- You can't forget the best player in the world right? He had a great season and he should go number one overall for fantasy. He'll rack up more points this season for you this season too. He also is of course a must grab for fantasy hockey owners.
