Timberwolves 103, Raptors 87

Kevin Love had 21 points and 12 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves routed the visiting Toronto Raptors 103-87 on Saturday in a contest matching two of the worst teams in the NBA.

Love’s 33rd consecutive double-double ended Minnesota’s six-game losing skid while Toronto (13-35) saw its losing streak reach 11. The skid is Toronto’s longest since a 12-game losing streak during the 2002-03 campaign.

Martell Webster added 15 points as Minnesota (11-36) won for just the second time in 13 games. Wesley Johnson had 14 points.

Ed Davis had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Toronto. Andrea Bargnani also scored 15 points but made just 5 of 24 shots. The Raptors shot just 33.7 percent from the field.

The Timberwolves led by 10 points at halftime and then outscored Toronto 31-20 in the third quarter to take a 21-point lead into the final frame.

The Raptors haven’t won since defeating the Sacramento Kings on Jan. 9.
