Bulls 105, Wizards 77

Derrick Rose led a balanced attack with 21 points and nine assists as the surging Chicago Bulls coasted to a 105-77 victory over the host Washington Wizards on Monday night.

Luol Deng added 21 points, and Joakim Noah had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls (41-17), who have won 16 of 20 and tied their win total from last season.

Carlos Boozer added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, which remained third in the Eastern Conference, two games behind Boston and one behind Miami.

Andray Blatche had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Wizards (15-44), who shot 35.6 percent and were outrebounded 56-39 in losing for the 15th time in 17 games. John Wall handed out 10 assists, but shot 3 of 14 for nine points.

Chicago closed the first half on a 23-12 run to take a 13-point edge at the break. Rose converted a layup off a steal and followed with a 3-pointer to push the lead to 68-50 with 4½ minutes left in the third.

Another 3-pointer by Rose two minutes later pushed the edge to 21, and Chicago coasted home.
