Thunder 113, Pacers 89

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored 21 points apiece and the fast-starting Oklahoma City Thunder cruised to a 113-89 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

Oklahoma City (37-22) scored the first 10 points and led 16-2 just 5 1/2 minutes into the game while breaking a three-game losing streak.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 13 points for Indiana (27-33), which shot just 34.1 percent from the field.

James Harden scored 20 points off the bench for Oklahoma City.

The Thunder led by 14 points after Westbrook’s layup with 6:35 left in the opening quarter. Indiana pulled within 30-23 early in the second quarter and Oklahoma City responded with a 10-0 run to regain control. Kevin Durant’s 4-point play made the score 55-33 with 3:39 left in the half.

Oklahoma City’s lead topped out at 35 points when Nick Collison’s 18-footer made it 97-62 with 10:12 left in the contest.

Pacers leading scorer Danny Granger had just nine points on 3-of-11 shooting. Darren Collison had 11 points on 2-of-11 shooting and Brandon Rush had four points on 1-of-7 shooting.
