Bucks 99, Mavericks 87
Earl Boykins came off the bench to score 26 points as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the visiting Dallas Mavericks, 99-87, on Saturday night.
Playing without superstar Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas dropped its third straight game.
John Salmons added 21 points for Milwaukee, which snapped a two-game losing streak.
The Bucks led by as many as 13 in the second quarter before Dallas went on a late 15-4 run to close the gap to 52-50 at the half.
Dallas' Jason Terry hit a jumper late in the third quarter to tie the game at 69-69.
Milwaukee (13-18) led 73-71 at the start of the fourth quarter and extended the lead to eight points after a pair of field goals by Andrew Bogut. The Mavericks never got closer than six points the rest of the way.
Jose Juan Barea led Dallas (24-8) with 29 points, and Jason Kidd had 14 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and six steals.
Nowitzki injured his knee earlier in the week against Oklahoma City.
