Spurs 91, Bucks 84
Matt Bonner scored all 17 of his points in the second half to spark the San Antonio Spurs to their fourth straight win, a 91-84 victory over the host Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.
Manu Ginobili had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Spurs, who swept the two-game season series, improved to a league-best 33-6 and head home for four straight games.
Bonner scored seven points in the third quarter and gave the Spurs a brief lead with a 3-pointer as the Spurs closed an eight-point halftime deficit to 66-65 entering the fourth period.
Bonner scored eight points in the first 3 1-2 minutes of the final quarter to give the Spurs a 79-72 lead. But Milwaukee rallied, getting five straight points from John Salmons to cut it to 81-80 with three minutes left.
Ginobili responded with a short jumper and Tim Duncan a dunk on a nice feed from Tony Parker. After Salmons hit again for Milwaukee, Bonner made a mid-range jumper to restore an 87-82 lead with 57 seconds left.
Bonner made 7-of-12 shots, including 3-of-5 from the arc.
Salmons scored 17 points and Andrew Bogut finished with 15 and 14 rebounds for the Bucks, who have lost six of eight.
