Grizzlies 110, Warriors 91

Tony Allen scored 21 points and the Memphis Grizzlies took control in the second half for a 110-91 victory over the visiting Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

Zach Randolph had 20 points and 13 rebounds Mike Conley also scored 20 points as Memphis (42-33) won for the fifth time in six games to stay right on the heels of New Orleans and Portland in the Western Conference playoff chase.

Monta Ellis and Dorell Wright had 16 points apiece to lead the Warriors (32-44), who lost for the second time in as many nights.

Allen scored 10 points as the Grizzlies closed the third quarter on a 29-13 run to take a 79-72 lead into the final 12 minutes.

Golden State was still within seven until Randolph scored eight points in a 15-3 spurt to extend the margin to 100-81 with 5:18 to play.

Memphis improved to 25-6 in its last 31 home games.
