Nuggets 115, Spurs 112
Wilson Chandler's 14-foot jumper with 29 seconds remaining helped the Denver Nuggets get past the visiting San Antonio Spurs, 115-112, on Wednesday night.
Al Harrington led the Nuggets (43-29) with 27 points while Raymond Felton, nursing a sprained left ankle, and J.R. Smith scored 18 apiece.
Gary Neal scored a career-high 25 points for the Spurs (57-14), who saw a five-game winning streak against the Nuggets snapped.
Smith gave Denver a 99-98 lead with 7:06 left, its first since the opening point of the game. From there, the game stayed tight before Chandler's basket proved to be the difference. Manu Ginobili, who scored 20 points, missed a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left and a desperation shot at the buzzer.
Danilo Gallinari scored 13 points as Denver shot 50.6 percent (39 of 77) from the field and held a 21-2 edge in fast-break points.
San Antonio's Tony Parker had 19 points and Antonio McDyess had 13 points and 12 rebounds.
