Clippers 100, Kings 82
Blake Griffin went off for 25 points and 15 rebounds and Eric Gordon added 28 points as the Los Angeles Clippers easily dispatched the Sacramento Kings 100-82 on Thursday.
Al-Farouq Aminu chipped in 12 points for the Clippers, who have won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
Los Angeles led 54-50 at the half and really opened it up in the third quarter, using a 19-5 run to push the lead to 73-58 with 5:24 left in the period. Gordon had nine points and Griffin added seven during the spurt. Seven straight points from Craig Smith midway through the fourth quarter pushed the lead to 94-74 and allowed the Clippers to coast to the finish.
The rookie Griffin has put up at least 24 points and 13 rebounds in each of the last three games and has nine double-doubles in 16 games this season.
Carl Landry scored 18 points and Luther Head finished with 15 for the Kings, who have lost three straight.
