Raptors 90, Knicks 85

Andrea Bargnani and DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points apiece as the visiting Toronto Raptors held off the New York Knicks 90-85 at Madison Square Garden on Monday.

Jose Calderon added nine points and 12 assists and Rasual Butler collected 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who snapped a three-game slide.

Bargnani scored four points in the final minute and Anthony Carter knocked down a pair of free throws with 10 seconds left to keep Toronto clear.

The Knicks scored just 11 points in the second quarter and shot 28 percent in the first half as the Raptors pulled into the locker room with a 51-35 lead.

New York recovered a bit in the third quarter and got within 77-74 when Carmelo Anthony hit a 3-pointer with 5:48 left. Anthony finally got the Knicks back within a point at 84-83 with 1:04 left but missed a tying 3-point attempt with 13 seconds remaining.

Anthony finished with 35 points on 13-of-31 shooting and 11 rebounds for New York, which was again without Amar'e Stoudemire due to an ankle injury.

The Knicks have failed to reach 90 points in three of their last four games.
