Heat 113, 76ers 92

Chris Bosh scored 30 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 113-92 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at AmericanAirlines Arena Saturday.

Miami picked up its third straight win and trumped Philadelphia for 10th time in the last 11 meetings with the Sixers. The Heat have won seven straight at home over the 76ers.

Bosh stepped up on offense with Dwyane Wade still out with an ankle injury. He went 11 for 19 from the field, and added seven rebounds and five assists to his stat line. Bosh has topped the 30-point mark three times this season – all three coming with Wade out of the lineup.

LeBron James heated up in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 of his 28 points in the final frame. James got to the foul line just four times, despite being second in the NBA in free-throw attempts, averaging 10.1 foul shots per game.

The Heat improved to 6-0 without Wade in the lineup.

Philadelphia got an impressive effort from backup center Nikola Vucevic, who started in place of the injured Spencer Hawes. He scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds before leaving the game with a strained knee in the third quarter.

Louis Williams, the NBA’s only bench player to lead his team in scoring, scored 22 points in the loss. Fellow reserve Evan Turner dropped 14 of his 16 points in the first half.
