Jazz 108, Timberwolves 98
Paul Millsap had a game-high 26 points and Al Jefferson torched his former club with 18 points and 12 rebounds as the host Utaz Jazz beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-98 on Saturday.
Minnesota went on a 13-2 run at the start of the fourth quarter to tie the game at 84, but the Jazz pushed back with strong shooting down the stretch.
Millsap won the battle of the power forwards against Kevin Love, who had a quiet game with just 15 points and eight rebounds. It was the first time in 16 games this season that Love has failed to record a double-double.
Jefferson had no such troubles against his former team, posting his seventh double-double of the season.
C.J. Miles chipped in with 18 points off the bench for the Jazz, who had five players finish with double figures in scoring.
Ricky Rubio added 17 points, 11 assists and four steals for Minnesota, which fell to 31-61 all-time against Utah.
