Trail Blazers 101, Kings 89

Sixth man Jamal Crawford scored 26 points and Gerald Wallace had 20 points and eight rebounds to help the Portland Trail Blazers to an easy 101-89 victory over the visiting Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

Portland (10-7) started the first of three consecutive games in three nights with a solid victory, improving to 7-1 at home.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 16 rebounds and 13 points. Wesley Matthews scored 14.

DeMarcus Cousins had 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Kings (6-12), who played without Marcus Thornton (thigh) and forward Chuck Hayes (separated shoulder). Jimmer Fredette scored 13 while Donte Green and Francisco Garcia each added 12.

Fredette's jumper with 6:24 remaining in the first half pulled Sacramento to 33-31, but the Trail Blazers went on a 20-7 run to end the half for a 53-38 lead. Crawford had 16 points in the first half and Wallace poured in 15 on 7-of-9 shooting.
